Picking up your CSA share should be fun and exciting - checking out the beautiful colors, textures and considering new ways to prepare local food is always a treat.
Thanks to the wonderful people of Nine Pin Cider Works, though, we are super excited to announce a new option in 2020 to take your CSA experience to the next level!
Our bi-weekly CSA offering will now be available for pick-up at New York’s First Farm Cidery, so you can stock up on some tasty beverages when you grab your food at Nine Pin’s convenient, central location!
How does it work?
Every other Wednesday from June 10th through September 16th (or June 17th - September 23rd), members will receive about one half bushel of seasonal food, including a family-sized protein (such as a whole chicken, 4-pack of pork chops, sausage, etc.) and 5-10 varieties fresh vegetables, greens or herbs. Price, and how to reserve your share:
The price for the 8 bi-weekly pick-ups at Nine Pin is $400, or $50 for each week. To reserve your membership, you can either pay for the season upfront or pay a deposit of $120 and pay $35 at each pickup.
To purchase your share up front, or to make a deposit, you can do so at our online store, or send/drop off payment in cash or check made out to Sollohub Family Farm. We are a small farm, and shares are limited, so act early to reserve your membership!
What about Averill Park?
Small numbers of weekly and bi-weekly shares are still available for pick-up in Averill Park, NY, so if you’d rather come visit us at the farm, we’d love to see you! Shares for Averill Park pick-up are available here.
